## Summary

According to FTI Consulting's report 'AI 2.0: Moving Beyond the Hype Cycle', which covers seven markets (United Kingdom, France, Spain, Germany, Belgium, United States, Ireland), 49% of large Spanish companies have not slowed or suspended any AI deployment for regulatory, reputational or trust reasons over the past twelve months, compared with a global average of 38%. Spain nonetheless takes a cautious approach: 28% of companies prioritise trust and control over speed, and only 25% say they are moving quickly. 46% rate the financial returns on their AI investments as strong or very strong, and 21% have a Chief AI Officer, the highest rate in the study. The report also points to gaps in risk management: only 37% include AI risk in their overall risk management, and 26% have tested incident response plans. Juan Rivera of FTI Consulting stresses that caution does not hold projects back but helps sustain them.
