## Summary

According to the 2026 IT Services Sourcing Study carried out by Eraneos with Whitelane Research, Spanish companies will spend around €65 billion on IT in 2026, of which €35 billion on outsourcing. The study, based on more than 330 executives from Spain's largest companies, shows that the share of companies planning to cut external IT spending rises from 9% in 2025 to 16% in 2026. According to Eduardo Martín of Eraneos Iberia, this trend is explained by a desire to bring services back in-house and by high expectations placed on AI investment. 68% of the companies reducing their IT investment believe that AI lowers the need to outsource certain activities. Only 2% of companies say they do not currently use AI.
