## Summary

The Paris Bar is launching the "Académie IA", a free training programme for Paris lawyers, with a first session in November. Leaders of the profession describe a number of difficulties: clients arriving with AI-generated analyses, "hallucinations" in submissions according to the bâtonnier Louis Degos, and an increase in sanctions according to François Girault of the CNB, who also observes more cautious recruitment. A CNB survey from May 2025 shows that 57% of lawyers practising alone use AI, compared with 86% in firms with more than 100 lawyers. The Bar had adopted a non-binding usage charter in July, which makes access to the tools conditional on training. The sessions, which are free and count towards continuing professional development, cover tools, the creation of AI agents and data anonymisation, as part of the "Vers un barreau souverain" strategy.
