## Summary

Vodafone Empresas has announced the rollout of artificial intelligence agents to more than 100,000 Spanish small and medium-sized enterprises. According to the company, these agents automate phone reception, appointment and booking management, incident handling and various administrative tasks. Vodafone offers a flexible, usage-based subscription model to avoid heavy upfront investment. Carlos Ortiz, SME Director at Vodafone Empresas, explains that the aim is to free employees from low-value tasks so that they can focus on customer relations and business development. The operator supports companies from identifying use cases through to training their teams, and is shifting its sales network of around 1,000 professionals towards a technology advisory role, complemented by a cybersecurity offering dedicated to SMEs.
